Volunteer Advocate Training
Certified Volunteer Advocates are trained to provide support for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Once certified, volunteers can lead prevention, education and outreach presentations; assist with legal advocacy and court accompaniment; provide peer support to survivors at Community Solutions? confidential shelter; provide in-person responses for survivors in crisis. Prior experience is not required. All Volunteer Advocates must complete our 70-hour Certification Training.
Our next Advocate Training will be held: July 12, 2019 ? August 16, 2019, every Friday (8:30AM ? 5PM) & Saturday (8AM-4PM)
