Job Description
SlingShot Connections is hiring for a Long Term Purchasing Administrative Assistant- ASAP

Duties:
• Answers internal customer service inquiries and provides accurate delivery and/or product-related information.
• Maintains vendor/supplier information.
• Effectively communicates customer issues and concerns to all applicable internal staff members.
• Documents all contacts, actions, and responses in customer database.
• Maintains working knowledge of large vendor base including Key Supplier.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as needed.
• Contact suppliers/vendors on availability of products needed in a courteous and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school graduate/college education preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in same or associated field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and willingness to become proficient in ERP system.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage changing priorities and workflow.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Acute attention to detail.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Ability to perform diversified clerical functions including scanning into a database.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Bilingual skills a plus.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Sit for prolonged periods.
